Welcome to my green world! Environmentalism is common sense. It’s for our own good and yet it’s difficult to change the mindsets and behaviors of people towards environmental sustainability. This is my attempt to raise awareness on different environmental issues and share the advocacy campaigns and projects I’m involved with.

But this blog is also a repository of my musings on the mundane, the profound and social issues. I guess it’s my way of making sense of the world – its peculiarities, beauty, and mystery.

Ryan is an environmentalist and a teacher. He is an alumnus of Teach for the Philippines and currently works for Solar Pacific, a solar energy company. He volunteers for different advocacy groups like Greenpeace, #IAmHampasLupa Ecological Agriculture Movement, and MakeSense. He is a Climate Reality Leader who is one of the 2017 Miguel R. Magalang Individual Climate Leadership Memorial Awardees. He is also a fellow of Japan Foundation’s Disaster and Environmental Education + Creativity Hope and Dreams (HANDs)! Project.
